Keynote
Designing for real people: What AI can’t see and why it matters

As AI tools become more embedded in accessibility workflows, it's easy to treat automated testing as enough.

It isn't. Tools catch what they're programmed to catch.

This keynote explores what gets missed, where human judgment must lead, and how better decisions shape who our digital systems actually serve.

Participants will leave with clearer questions to ask about assumptions, gaps and the people most often left out.

Featuring Reginé Gilbert

Reginé Gilbert is a systems and change strategist, industry associate professor at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, and author of five books, including "Inclusive Design for a Digital World and Digital Accessibility Ethics."
