Biography

Dr. Tanisha Stevens serves as the vice chancellor for institutional effectiveness and compliance at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, where she provides operational leadership for several critical functions, including Institutional Regulations and Compliance, the Office of Institutional Research, the Title IX and Equity Office, and the Office of Student Conduct and Academic Integrity. With more than 20 years of experience in higher education, Stevens brings a wealth of expertise in compliance, investigations and program assessment. She earned a Bachelor of Arts with honors in psychology from the University of Missouri–Columbia, a Master of Counseling from Saint Louis University and a doctorate in educational leadership and policy studies from the University of Missouri–St. Louis.
