Ali Yildirim is the chief marketing officer at the University of Iowa, where he leads the enterprise marketing function for the institution. His responsibilities include brand strategy, creative development, enrollment marketing, content strategy, web strategy and development, and market insights. Yildirim began his marketing career at Target Corp. and later held brand management roles in the consumer products industry, working on brands such as Honeywell, Vicks, Braun and Pur. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland and an MBA from the University of Minnesota.
