AI in Practice: A Peer Conversation on Managing and Leading with AI
Date & Time
Thursday, June 25, 2026, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM CDT
Description
AI is changing the tools we use, but, more importantly, it's also starting to change what leadership actually looks like. How we make decisions, how we delegate, and how we think about our teams' time. For managers in higher ed, that shift is already underway.
Join fellow DigiCol Management & Leadership community members to discuss how we can start putting AI to work in our day-to-day roles. DigiCol AI community leader Brian Piper will kick things off with a look at practical frameworks that can help leaders move from tinkering to truly operationalizing AI across their teams. He'll also touch on agentic AI and what it could mean for the way managers and teams collaborate going forward.
But the real value here is the conversation. What's working at your institution? What still feels like a mess? Where have you found a win you didn't expect? Bring your experiences, your questions, and your honest reactions. Every perspective makes the conversation better.
After the session is over, we’ll continue the conversation on our #management-leadership Slack channel. All members are welcome to join the Digital Collegium Slack Workspace.
