Ensuring digital accessibility starts long before software is in use—it begins at procurement. Learn how Illinois State University incorporates accessibility reviews into their purchasing process through a collaborative effort between our technology, accommodations, and purchasing departments. This poster session will explore how a proactive review process was created, the challenges we encountered, and how we overcame organizational and technical barriers. Participants will gain practical insights and strategies to build or enhance their own accessible procurement workflows while fostering campus-wide commitment to digital accessibility.
