Emma heads up the User Experience (UX) Service at the University of Edinburgh. She's interested in helping colleagues understand the positive impact UX can have and encouraging the holistic adoption of user-centred practices and approaches within Higher Education. She co-chairs a UCISA group of professionals working in UX in Higher Education, running regular meet-ups and an annual conference to support and build a UX community of practice. She's UX Research Lead at Drupal, contributing to transforming UX in the open-source content management system space.
