Communicating the public good generated by federally-funded research at UAlbany

In July 2025, the University at Albany’s Office of Communications & Marketing launched a fully redesigned Research at UAlbany landing page. The goals of this redesign included:
- Highlighting the University’s unique research strengths
- Demonstrating how UAlbany research directly benefits the public
- Advocating for continued federal support for research
Previously, the Research at UAlbany landing page simply provided basic information and linked to other University webpages similarly available through the UAlbany website’s mega menu.
The new Research at UAlbany landing page clearly communicates the depth, breadth and value of UAlbany research to prospective students, prospective researchers, lawmakers, community members and the general public.
