Keynote
“We need to talk...” – Your Users

Your users are trying to tell you something. Most of them just aren’t saying it out loud. This keynote is about what we miss when we don’t ask: the friction in our forms and processes, the students who leave without a word, the small moments that could have made someone feel like they belong here. You have more power to change someone’s experience than you realize. Use it.

Featuring Melanie Lindahl

Melanie Lindahl is a Senior UX Designer, Researcher, and Project Manager at the University of Texas at Austin School of Law. With most of her 20+ years in higher education focused on UX, she’s spent her career proving that talking to users isn’t a luxury, it’s the work. She’s NN/g certified and has an unhealthy interest in registration systems, form fields, and what makes users tick. You can see her case studies at law.utexas.edu/ux-case-studies.
