Kristin Nichols is the chief marketing officer at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and a proud MCLA alum. She joined the college in 2024 with a mandate to modernize marketing, storytelling and digital engagement in an increasingly competitive higher education landscape.
Kristin oversees brand strategy, enrollment marketing and the institution's digital presence, with a strong focus on measurable impact. A key priority in her role is ensuring prospective students, families and current students can easily find the information they need at critical decision points.
Recognizing that the website is often the institution's first and most important touchpoint, Kristin led efforts to elevate site search as a central part of MCLA's digital strategy. By taking a data-informed approach to website performance and user behavior, she has helped position search as a driver of engagement, recruitment and student success.
