Nicole Mehlman-Davidow serves as the assistant director of communications and web at the University at Buffalo’s Graduate School of Education, where she leads digital strategy, storytelling and web engagement initiatives designed to elevate the school’s reputation and strengthen connections with students, alumni, faculty and external communities. In her role, she manages daily web production, oversees weekly e‑news outreach and guides multimedia projects that support the school’s mission through compelling visuals and clear, audience‑centered communication. 

Nicole’s work contributes to the broader success of GSE’s marketing and communications team, which earned a prestigious Gold Award at the 2025 Education Digital Marketing Awards for its human‑centered, data‑driven website redesign. This effort significantly improved engagement and user experience. With a career spanning higher education, nonprofit communications and collegiate athletics, she brings a versatile background and a collaborative mindset to every project

Nicole holds a master’s degree in higher education administration and student affairs from Buffalo State University and a bachelor’s degree in communications from Niagara University. Beyond her professional life, she is a proud mom of one and an active runner and triathlete, channeling her passion, discipline and resilience into both her personal pursuits and her professional work.
