In his second year at Montgomery County Community College, John Attaquin has found his stride within his current position and has his hands involved with numerous school wide projects. John serves as the web content manager for Montco. His responsibilities at this position include leveraging the college's web CMS to ensure relevant, accurate and engaging information appearing on the website. Additionally, John works with the various divisions of the college to train and manage the work of content editors, who are allowed access to the CRM to manage and update their areas on the website. Editors are trained to correctly adhere to the institutional brand and a common voice. Site analytics and SEO are also a part of John's responsibilities. As time goes on, John's responsibilities have grown, and he now sees himself providing feedback into other school systems being implemented. John and the web team have fostered a close relationship with the marketing department to allow synergy between marketing campaigns and website content. Still in early in his career, John is excited to see what other challenges and projects he can take on at Montco.
