Biography

she/her

Chloé Bell joined UNC Global Affairs as a communication specialist in 2024. She works closely with the associate director for communication and special advisor to the vice provost to implement the department's communication and marketing strategy. This includes managing the website, the monthly newsletter, social media accounts and various projects. She also supports the student communication assistants in their writing, design and social media efforts.

During her undergraduate career at Carolina, Chloé received an Honors Carolina Laureate and served as an active member of the UNC-Chapel Hill Rho chapter of Alpha Phi Omega, the nation's largest gender-inclusive service organization. She also worked for American Campus Communities before graduating and working for the Walt Disney Company under the Parks, Experiences and Products division.

In 2024, Chloé earned her bachelor's degree in global studies with two minors: information systems and Hispanic studies. She enjoys reading, cycling, cooking and traveling to both new and familiar places. One of the ways Chloé channels her love of visual storytelling and global education is through photography, a passion she cultivated while supporting the 2023–2024 Carolina Global Photography Competition and exhibition as a student communication assistant at UNC Global Affairs.
